About: Sarah received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Iran University of Science and technology (IUST) and University of Tehran (UT), Tehran, Iran, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. she worked on the hardware implementation of Spiking Neural Networks using Volatile and Non-volatile memories in her MSc. Sarah joined the DISCO Lab in Fall 2022, and she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Das. Her research interest is generally neuromorphic computing and Software-Hardware Co-design using emerging technologies. Sarah likes hiking, swimming, and traveling.

About: Arghavan is a current PhD student with her research focus on high performance and low power memory and storage systems, in-memory computing, and approximate computing. Prior to her PhD, she worked as an R&D Researcher on designing fast and low power I/O caches for SAN storage systems at High Performance Data Storage System (HPDS) Corporation in Iran. She received her MSc in computer engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran and did her BSc in the same major at University of Teheran. Moreover, she had research collaborations in the field of in-memory and approximate computing with Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology resulting in two publications. Apart from this, Arghavan workouts regularly and enjoys cooking.
